Greeting

The StoneCrest RC Flyers was chartered by the Academy of Model Aeronautics, Inc. (AMA) in 2009 and has been in continuous operation since that time. The club maintains a membership of approximately 17 members, conducts monthly meetings and yearly elections. Membership is open to anyone with a desire to pursue the hobby of model aviation. The club conducts Radio Control flying at a field located adjacent to StoneCrest Golf Club. The facility contains a 80' X 400' grass runway with a 30' X 300' fabric runway strip down the middle. There is also a 48' shelter structure, solar-powered charging stations, trash barrels, flight stations, and porta john. These facilities are behind locked gates, but are usually open on weekends and visitors are welcome.
